“He has remembered His lovingkindness and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God” - Psalm 98:3
Nigel was raised in a home with parents who have now been serving in Jewish ministry for 50 years. Where God’s love for Israel and the Jewish people was and continues to be vibrantly expressed. This gave Nigel an excellent insight into God’s plans and purposes concerning Israel, past, present, and future.
As a young boy and teenager, he didn’t always appreciate the significance of having sat through a lifetime of Messianic Passovers as a Gentile living in New Zealand. However following a career as a primary school teacher, the Lord showed Nigel that his background was no accident, but rather the basis for a calling into Jewish ministry in 2014.
Having been commended into ministry by Coast Community Church in Dec 2016, Nigel now serves with Celebrate Messiah New Zealand as their North Island representative. He lives with his wife and four children on the Kapiti Coast near the capital city of Wellington. During the summertime he is a one-day host listed on Planet Zula, offering free “Welcome to Wellington” tours and BBQs to any Israeli travellers passing through.
Throughout the rest of the year, Nigel is an itinerant Bible teacher, traveling and speaking at churches, home groups or conferences. This includes presenting Messianic Passovers, along with other topics often not often addressed in modern churches. These relate to the prophecies found in the Hebrew scriptures and NT that reveal God’s plans and purposes for Israel and the world, through the person and work of Messiah, Jesus. This is done so that believers, like the apostle Paul, might develop a heart for the lost sheep of the house of Israel and desire their salvation (Rom 10:1).
